In one of the less explored areas of North West Bali lies The Menjangan, an intimate, boutique beach front resort set amidst the Bali Barat National Park.
Hidden away along the Sentigi Beach, Joglo style beach villas sit on the white sand beach, just steps from the ocean. The Villa interiors are modern in style, with large four poster beds, polished marble floors and outdoor bathrooms.
The Menjangan also offers the Monsoon Lodge - a collection of fourteen deluxe rooms and two suites nestled within the forest, and The Menjangan Residence, a private estate attached to the resort. Set around a tranquil swimming and hot pool, the Monsoon Lodge rooms have been purpose built so as to integrate with the surrounding nature and wildlife. Crafted with Bengkirai wood floors, and alang alang thatched roofs, Balinese style fuses with the more modern, minimalist interiors. The Residence contains two double bedrooms and a twin room, all maintaining the chic minimalism of the resort, but with utter privacy, butler service and its own pool perched on the cliff edge.
Panoramic views are on offer when dining at The Menjangan's Bali Tower Resto, imposing above the treetops to provide 360 degree views as you eat. The Pantai Resto cooks up fresh, grilled seafood, set on decking above the sea, while the waves gently lap below. Private dining can also be arranged, for a more intimate dining experience.
The Mangrove Spa, tucked amongst the beachside mangrove trees, is a truly peaceful place to indulge in specially designed treatment packages that the resort will cater to your personal requirements.
The nature and wildlife of the Bali Barat National Park is right upon your doorstep, and activities at The Menjangan include horseback riding, walking and bird watching tours so that you can explore the surrounding area in all its glory. Some of the very best snorkelling and diving in Bali is also located just a short boat ride away from The Menjangan, with shallow and colourful reef gardens around Menjangan Island
