Nestled along Bali’s southwestern coast, Alila Seminyak combines innovative design with tropical indulgence: the ultimate in beach cool.
The resort's 240 stylishly decorated rooms and suites are all thoughtfully designed for luxurious artisanal living. Floor-to-ceiling windows reveal stunning vistas, private terraces with cosy daybeds open onto swimming pools and pool bars, ideal for soaking up the chilled vibe, whilst lush tropical gardens add to the sense of a secret sanctuary. Being one of the larger hotels on the sand, the Alila offers something for everyone, whether dreaming of drifting to sleep to the lapping of the waves, or offering night owls the shortest possible totter from Seminyak's buzz to bed. The three-bedroom penthouse is the ultimate hideaway, with huge glass doors revealing a private pool, a large terrace for entertaining, and a prime sunset view.
Relaxed all day dining is available at the oceanfront Seminyak restaurant, where guests are offered a gastronomic feast; from Indonesian flavours to the open-air Grill & Rotisserie or Asian Noodle Bar. The Beach Bar is ideal for sipping fresh juice, a cold beer or a cocktail, whilst the Coffee Bar (open 24 hours a day) makes an unbeatable Espresso Martini. Guests are also invited to tailor their own dream dining experience, be it a gourmet dinner under the stars, or a champagne picnic.
For those who want to do more than simply soak up the sun, the Alila Spa presents an extensive meus of Asian-inspired therapies, using all-natural products from the Alila's very own range (make sure to take home a healthy supply of the Balinese Blossom body butter - trust us). There is also a kids club, and a gym with yoga and fitness classes. Although one of the larger hotels on the beachfront, guests won't have problems finding a spot to lounge poolside, with no less than five inifinty pools at the hotel. Personalised shopping days, visits to local markets or to temples around the island, and cycle rides through the beautiful countryside are also on offer for those keen to explore.
