Few countries have as original a collection of luxury hotels as Sweden. The chic boutique luxury hotels in Stockholm and Gothenburg are perfect for a weekend away, but further north in Swedish Lapland things get a little less normal. Redesigned and rebuilt each year, the remarkable Ice Hotel consists of ice suites, where guests sleep on reindeer skin-covered mattresses on ice beds. Meanwhile the Treehotel consists of weird and wonderful tree houses. Not to be outdone, the Gothenburg archipelago has a luxury hotel that's built on raft. Neither of the last two is ideal for sleepwalkers, obviously.
