Family Europe Holidays

Europe may just be the ultimate continent for family holidays. There is something for everyone, whether you are taking the tentative steps of your first family holiday with a new baby, or needing to entertain those hard-to-please teens. We Brits love a sun-filled holiday and Europe delivers every time. The other critical requirement for a family holiday in Europe is a family-friendly hotel. Many lay claim to the title, few deliver fully. Which is where we come in; our experts have travelled the length and breadth of Europe and know the resorts, boutique hotels and villas that really walk the walk when it comes to families. Oldies but goodies, France and Italy offer it all in terms of delicious food (for even the pickiest of eaters), cultural cities, classical ruins (for slightly older children) and beautiful beaches galore. Cyprus is excellent for some early or late sun (think Easter and October half term), while Scandinavia is the place to embrace winter; go to see Father Christmas in Finland and head to Swedish Lapland in search of adventure – dog sledding, anyone?
