After a tasty breakfast this morning, you’ll be met at the hotel by your private guide for a day exploring Cairo and its Pyramids. First up is a visit to the mighty Pyramids of Giza complex, located just outside of Cairo. As you marvel at the towering structures, including the Great Pyramid and the Great Sphinx, your expert guide will bring their history to life, filling you in on the fascinating different stages of Ancient Egyptian history.
Once you’re suitably wowed, experience a taste of contemporary Egyptian culture with a traditional lunch at a lively local restaurant.
After lunch, head back to your hotel to spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing together by the pool. Come evening, experience Cairo through the eyes of a local as you’re shown around the city by a friendly resident. There’s no better way to get under the skin of a city.
After dipping your toes into the capital yesterday, today’s all about Historic Cairo (often referred to as Islamic Cairo), home to beautifully intricate mosques, hammams and fountains. Head out on a tour led by an expert local guide, who’ll show you around this part of the city, exploring the soul of the area through its architecture, religion and rich history.
Spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the newlywed bubble at your hotel, before heading out for a final dinner in Cairo – your Concierge is on hand to offer recommendations for some hidden gems.
Savour one last hearty breakfast in Cairo this morning, before being privately transferred back to the airport for a speedy one-hour domestic flight to Luxor.
On arrival in Luxor, a private transfer will take you to your charming hotel for the next three nights. You know the drill by now: enjoy the rest of the afternoon relaxing by the pool, before heading for a romantic dinner at the hotel.
Today’s all about ancient history. This morning, you’ll be met by your guide to explore the landmarks in what was once the legendary city of Thebes. Your guide will take you to the west side of the Nile, which, in Ancient Egypt, represented the transition from life to death, to visit the spectacular Valley of the Kings and the enormous Hatshepsut temple complex. Just like in Cairo, they’ll bring these fascinating historic sites to life with colourful tales of the past.

It's been a pretty jam-packed start to your luxury honeymoon in Egypt, so we’ve left this morning free for you to spend as you wish. Enjoy a lie-in, lounge by the pool and take it easy with your better half – you’ve earned it.
After a leisurely lunch, you’ll be met at the hotel and taken on another tour to learn about the history of this ancient city. First up is a visit to Luxor Temple, an ancient complex on the east bank of the Nile. Then, as the sun sets, visit the glorious collonaded temples at Karnak, which look even more impressive as their shadows lengthen. Enjoy dinner in the city before hitting the hay for the last time in Luxor.
Egypt's cultural heritage might be second to none, but a luxury honeymoon wouldn't be complete without spending some time on the Red Sea coast. After breakfast today, you’ll be met for the four-hour transfer to your hotel for the next five nights, set on the beautiful coast near Hurghada.
Upon arrival, tuck into the first of many tasty lunches and spend the afternoon wandering along the sand, getting your beach bearings.
You’ve reached the last leg of your Egyptian honeymoon: a blissful four days to do as little or as much as you like. The crystalline water and pristine Red Sea reefs off Hurghada are perfect for divers and snorkellers to explore, while landlubbers can dip their toes in the deliciously warm water and soak in the sun on the beach.
If you fancy a bit of exploring while you’re here, we can arrange private boat trips to cruise the coastline (complete with picnic lunches, of course), or organise trips into the nearby desert to drive quad bikes and ride camels. Sadly, it's back to reality today, as your honeymoon in Egypt comes to an end. The good news is that you’ll have time this morning for one last lie-in and a leisurely breakfast before your transfer to the airport in Hurghada.
From here, there are a few direct flights to the UK which take around six hours. For a little more choice, take a one-hour flight to Cairo, where you can hop on a five-and-a-half-hour flight back home. You’ll touch down in the UK this evening, feeling truly relaxed and ready for married life to begin.
