Route
Touchdown in Ibiza
Grab your sunglasses, sunhats and suncream because today you’re off to Ibiza, the Balearic Island that’s equal parts hedonism and adventure. After heading to the airport and relaxing in the lounge, board your two-and-a-half-hour flight which lands in Ibiza in the evening.
When you land, collect your bags, pick up your hire car and head to your hotel, an intimate hideaway that’s surrounded by nature. Indulge in a late-night feast at the hotel’s restaurant before hitting the hay ready for tomorrow’s foodie adventure.
Foodie tour of Ibiza town
Ibiza’s cuisine is a magnificent mixing pot of cultures and you’ll learn all about it today on a gourmet stroll through the streets of Ibiza town. A knowledgeable guide will lead you through the markets, shops and restaurants that speak to the island’s gastronomic history. Indulge in tea and pastries reminiscent of an authentic English tea room; savour the flavours of Iberian ham and cheese; and devour traditional tapas dishes paired with fine wine at Food Studio, an unconventional restaurant where talented chefs from Michelin-starred establishments concoct culinary masterpieces.
With bellies fit to burst, spend the rest of the day as you please, whether that be spread out on the beach or exploring the old town’s colourful shops. If you can squeeze in some more tasty treats, then ask your local Concierge to book you into a restaurant specialising in whatever cuisine impressed you most on your tour.
E-bike adventure
It’s time to work off yesterday’s indulgences on an E-bike tour of rural Ibiza. Buckle up your helmets and get peddling as you venture off the beaten track and head north of the island, passing almond fields, small villages and immaculate white churches. With plenty of opportunities to stop and admire the views, this three-hour adventure is sure to show off Ibiza’s natural beauty.
After dropping off the E-bikes, we recommend hopping in your car and exploring some of the island’s rural beaches. These sleepy stretches of sand are the perfect places to unwind after a day of cycling, letting you recharge your batteries before the evening. Head back to the hotel, freshen up and dive into some of Ibiza’s lively bars for a taste of the island’s livelier side.
Sail to Formentera
This morning, return your hire car and head to Ibiza’s marina for the half-an-hour boat ride to the port of La Savina in Formentera. Popular for its unspoilt beaches and calm waters, this 12-mile-long and one-mile-wide island is ideal for hiking, diving and unwinding. When you arrive, collect your second hire car, check into your secluded hotel and relax into island life.
Explore the little island
If you’re looking to get to grips with Formentera on foot, we can organise a hiking tour of the island. Perfect for early mornings or sunsets, you’ll get to visit beautiful beaches and hidden caves, alongside a guide who knows the island inside out.
To practice the art of bargaining, head to one of the island’s many street markets to hunt for pretty trinkets and souvenirs. After haggling your heart out, flop onto a sun lounger, order a cocktail and drift off to chilled-out Balearic beats as the sun sets.
Back to Ibiza
Drop off your hire car and wave goodbye to the smallest Balearic Island as you board the boat back to Ibiza. A private transfer will be waiting to whisk you away to your hotel, where you can spend the rest of the day relaxing. Alternatively, seek out another one of Ibiza’s beaches and hop from seafront bar to seafront bar. Whatever you choose, make sure you catch the orange skies at San Antonio’s aptly named Sunset Strip, a popular promenade dotted with bars and restaurants which stretches from the port area to the northern tip of the island.
Sail the seas in an Ilaut
It’s your final day in Ibiza, and there’s not a moment to waste. Today you’ll hop aboard an Ilaut, a small traditional wooden boat used by the fishermen of the Balearic Islands. Taking to the seas is a great way to discover the wild coasts, creeks and beaches of Ibiza, so get your cameras at the ready and snap away. After arriving back on land, freshen up and head to a restaurant for one last Spanish meal under Ibiza’s night sky.
Home time
Your Spanish escape has sadly come to an end, so pack your bags and meet your driver for your private transfer back to the airport. The flight is around two-and-a-half hours, giving you plenty of time to reminisce as you flick through the sunny snaps on your camera.
