Canyon Lodge is a National Historic Landmark, restored to its original 1920's design with replicas of its original historic furniture. Most of the 118 rooms are situated between the main lodge and the amphitheatre rim in a fragrant stand of old-growth Ponderosa Pines. The historic western cabins combine cosy beds and a gas log fireplace with rustic features like open beams and lodge-pole-pine walls. To preserve the lodge's rustic feel and experience, there are no televisions on the property, which is no great hardship with such incredible scenery to look at.

Food lovers will be glad to hear that The Lodge at Bryce Canyon Restaurant is consistently rated as one of the area's best dining experiences. It serves American- Mexican specialities and is rather snug with a grand stone fireplace and simple décor. The Valhalla Pizzeria does as the name suggests - some pretty great pizzas, and is great for families.

Many activities are available in and around Bryce National Park to explore all that this incredible area has to offer. The National Park is located only three miles from the Lodge. With Nature preserves and picturesque trails on site, activities such as walks, geology talks, hikes and evening programs can be enjoyed to experience and explore the area. Other popular destinations, such as the Grand Staircase- Escalante National Monument, the Kodachrome Basin State Park and the Capital Reef National Park are conveniently located close by. Spots for fishing can be found only 30 minutes from the Lodge and horseback riding is an exciting alternative for exploring the stunning landscape from a different perspective.

There is also an indoor game room and between May and October a heated indoor swimming pool invites for a relaxed swim after an exhausting day.
