Route

Everything is 100% tailored to you
DAY 1

International Flight

Your flight to Figari leaves London around lunchtime and lands in Corsica in the early afternoon. Once you have collected your bags you will pick up the keys to your hire car. From here, it is a half-an-hour drive to your country estate hotel where we have booked you a private shepherd's hut. There will be a welcome pack of culinary goodies waiting for you, so we recommend dropping your bags in your room and freshening up with a dip in your private pool, before cooking a delicious supper in your kitchen this evening.

DAY 2

Bonifacio

This morning you will make your way to Bonifacio, where you will meet your private guide for a private tour to learn more about Corsica's culinary culture. You will make your way around the historic citadel's foodie hotspots, from tiny one-person shops to epicurean emporiums, learning about the history of Corsican food - think the best bits of a Franco-Italian culinary combination - and tasting the best examples with local producers and enthusiasts. Be sure to pick up some local ingredients to cook up for dinner this evening.

DAY 3

Boat Trip

This morning you will make your way to the port in Bonifacio for a private trip to the Lavezzi Archipelago (not to be confused with the Italian coffee brand). The granite islands are two miles off the coast of Corsica and have been uninhabited for centuries, making them the perfect spot for a day of off-the-beaten-path relaxing. Once you get underway the nautically-minded can help the crew with the sails while landlubbers can lie back and enjoy the scenery before relaxing on deck enjoying a long lunch. You will take the long way back to shore, so make sure you keep an eye out for dolphins - if they are around they will almost certainly come close to the boat and even swim alongside the bow, making for a magical end to a very elegant day at sea.

DAYS 4 & 5

Estate Fun

Spend the next two days enjoying the estate where you are staying. There is plenty to enjoy, including the fruit and vegetable gardens, the private beach and generally pottering around the farm and olive groves. We can also arrange spa sessions or long guided walks alongside other activities such as cooking classes; wine tastings; wine and food pairing session and fishing trips.

DAY 6

International Flight

This morning is one last chance to relax before a last lunch and the return drive to the airport to drop your car off and check in in good time for your early afternoon flight home. You will arrive back in London in the late afternoon.
