Due to open in spring 2018, Six Senses Krabey Island is set to become a must stay for visitors to Cambodia. Located just a ten minute boat transfer from Cambodia’s coastline (and ten minutes further from Sihanoukville Airport), this 30-acre island will add to Six Senses collection of exclusive island escapes and makes a fabulous alternative to the mainland.
Set amidst the naturally landscaped island grounds, 40 pool villas will make up the entirety of Six Senses Krabey Island. In keeping with the Six Senses brand the pool villas will use sustainable and eco-friendly design to stay in keeping with the islands natural charm, while also providing luxurious retreats for their guests. Each villa will include a private pool, decking area and large bathroom, and some will also feature outdoor showers and wine cellars.
Krabey Island is set to offer guests two restaurant options, the main all day dining restaurant and Indochine, the resorts speciality 'show cooking' restaurant. The main restaurant will offer a casual island atmosphere with themed daily dinners, while Indochine will feature an open kitchen and communal dining table for guests to get involved in the cooking process at. An elevated sunset bar will offer panoramic ocean views and a comfortable place to relax after a log day in the sun.
To keep guests entertained during a stay at Six Senses Krabey Island there will be a predictably luxurious spa, using a combination of classic Six Senses treatments as well as a selection of traditional Cambodian healing traditions and rejuvenating experiences. There will also be yoga classes, a boutique shop, juice bar and outdoor poolside cinema. Thanks to the naturally beautiful setting of Krabey Island there will also be option to dive, snorkel, try various waters sports and stargaze with the help of a state of the art telescope.
