Just a stone’s throw away from the Champs-Élysées and around the corner from the Elysée Palace, La Réserve Hotel and Spa is a five star hotel in the heart of Paris’ 8th arrondissement, overlooking the Eiffel Tower.
A calm and tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city, each of La Réserve's 14 rooms and 26 suites is bathed with natural light. Decorated with deep reds and velvets the rooms, as well as the rest of the hotel, reflect the refinement and style of Belle Époque Paris. Each room comes with luxurious features such as Damascene wallpapers and Italian marble bathrooms. Suites each have their own private seating areas, and some come with private bars and dining areas. Most also have incredible views over the most beautiful sights in Paris, such as the Eifel Tower, the glass Grand Palais, or the spires of Notre-Dame - some larger suites even have views of all three.
When it comes to gastronomic delights, Paris sets the bar high and La Reserve's double Michelin-starred (in its opening year, no less) restaurant Le Gabriel certainly rises to the challenge. Highlights from the menu include blue lobster, suckling pig and black truffles followed by champagne at the bar, naturally. The hotel's second restaurant is the equally wonderful La Pagode de Cos, which continues La Réserve's tradition of culinary creativity. In addition to exceptional food and wines, on the first Thursday of the month they hold a wine evening, where a French wine producer takes guests through their wines, accompanied by the hotel's Head Sommelier.
Epicurean excitement aside, La Réserve's luxurious spa is a haven of peace and quiet, home to a 50ft swimming pool, a hammam, three treatment rooms, and a small fitness room. Treatments on offer include a variety of massages - ranging from Swedish to full body - and facials. The hotel's library, with its leather-bound book lined walls, roaring fire, and windows which look out onto Paris is the ideal spot to pass a chilly Parisian evening, and the welcoming bar has a wine list which is more than impressive enough to please even the most discerning oenophiles.
La Réserve is the height of Parisian luxury and chic; think wonderful beds, beautiful furniture, and impeccable service.
