Both the Greek mainland and its idyllic islands are ripe for exploring during the summer. Party in style in Mykonos or escape the crowds in the Dodecanese archipelago, where islands like Lerios and Pserimos remain undiscovered (and unspoilt) by tourists. Every island has its own ambience, so there is something to suit every appetite. Venture to the mainland to discover the lakes of Thrace in the north, the fascinating fishing villages of the Corinthian Gulf and the magnificent monasteries of Meteora.

Sailors will be in a watery paradise here too, whether you want to learn how to sail for yourself or live in the lap of luxury on your own boat with a private skipper to take you where you wish. Back on land you'll still never be too far from the water, so you'll have ample opportunity to enjoy beach days, snorkelling adventures and swimming in the sea.
