Or walk to the Polylimnio waterfalls, which means 'many lakes' in Greek: and that's exactly what you'll find here: 15 fresh water lakes with waterfalls tumbling into them, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim. Or for something a bit different, explore Diros Caves, which were once thought to be the entrance to the underworld, by boat.
For foodie families, we can suggest a raft of culinary experiences, be it olive oil tasting, which is a must in a region so famous for its olives, or a Greek pasta making lesson. The region is also famous for its wine, so you could leave the children in the capable hands of the hotel's kids club for the afternoon while you enjoy a spot of wine tasting in a local vineyard.
