British citizens need a tourist or business visa to visit Tanzania. You must apply for an ‘e-visa’ before you travel via the online portal. You can also get a single-entry tourist visa upon entry in Tanzania.

Your passport must be valid for at least six months after the date of your planned entry, and it must have at least one blank page.
