The Majestic Malacca

A stunning 1920's colonial mansion, The Majestic Malacca stands in the heart of Malacca City, overlooking the river.

Specifically designed to echo the multi-cultural history and culture of the city, this beguiling hotel showcases several beautifully appointed rooms and suites. Décor reflects a mélange of Eastern and Western cultures; with original porcelain flooring, intricate artwork, antiques, teakwood fittings and use of beautiful silks, every aspect is a fusion of ancient elements and imprints from around the world.

Guests can dine overlooking the Malacca River in Melba at the Mansion, the elegant colonial style restaurant at the hotel. Serving dishes inspired by the city's Portuguese, Indian and Chinese influences, as well as authentic local Kristang dishes, the menu is diverse and flavourful. For more casual afternoon tea and snacks the Lounge is a great alternative, and for drinks there is a fully stocked bar.

At the novel spa guests can indulge in therapies based on the Peranakan culture, such as a refreshing cucumber aloe wrap or a cooling bird's nest facial, complete with star fruit mask. There is also a swimming pool to relax by, a fitness centre to workout in and a beautiful old library to curl up in. Plus, with the city on the doorstep there is much to do in the way of exploring outside of the hotel grounds.
