Housed in a former industrial publishing house in Tbilisi’s Vera District, Rooms Hotel has been lovingly transformed into a contemporary eight-storey property. The city’s first design hotel, the hipster-chic interiors don’t disappoint - from the sweeping marble staircases and art-filled lounge to the quirky library.
125 rooms are spread over eight floors, ranging from the Queen, Twin and King rooms to luxurious Suites complete with tranquil terraces. All of the rooms are decked out with a comfy, leather-upholstered bed, a rustic writing desk and a stylish bathroom, and many feature unique silk-screen wallpapers that have been hand-painted.
At The Kitchen restaurant - open for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as brunch at weekends - tuck into delicious dishes created with sustainably grown, locally sourced and wild, foraged ingredients. Alternatively, head across the road to the stylish Lolita restaurant where you can brush shoulders with the city's cool crowd over pizza. Come evening, retire to the hotel's Bar Room for handcrafted cocktails, and the Fireplace Room to relax on the comfy sofas beside a crackling fire.
As Tbilisi's first design hotel, Rooms Hotel lives up to expectations with its hipster-chic interiors, buzzing bar and central Vera District location.
