Discreetly tucked away on Sindebezi Island on the Zambezi River, Sindabezi Lodge is a luxury lodge perfectly placed for exploring Victoria Falls.

Accommodation is comprised of five thatched cottages spread across the island. Peering over the water, the front of the cottages are completely open allowing guests to soak in the views and look out for the elephant and impala that come to quench their thirst on the banks of the river. All of the cottages are as good as the next - number one has a bath overlooking the waters; numbers two and three boast a 'loo with a view'; number four is in the best hippo spot; and number five is the ultra romantic and secluded honeymoon chalet.

The sister property of one of our favourite Zambian lodges, Tongabezi, there are plenty of activities on offer, both for the active minded and the slightly more relaxed. As well as game drives, canoe trips and guided bush walks, activities such as riding, white water rafting and visits to Victoria Falls can also be arranged. When feet are tiring and muscles aching, there are a few in room treatments on offer such as massages and manicures.

Combine a stay at Sindabezi with its sister property, Tongabezi, which is just a 15 minute boat ride downstream (or a half an hour paddle).
