Finch Hattons Luxury Camp in the Tsavo West National Park is a historic and elegant safari camp with a long legacy of conservation. Named after the legendary British aristocrat and renowned photographer who first fell in love with Kenya in 1911, the camp remains true to Hatton's values of celebrating the world of luxury safari.
The camp has fourteen Luxury Tented Guest Suites, as well as multiple Two Bedroom Suites and the extra luxurious Finch Hatton's Suite. All suites boast double or twin beds, indoor and outdoor showers, a beautiful copper bath, Wi-Fi and a viewing deck with comfortable seating from which to enjoy the stunning views. The Finch Hatton's Suite offers the extra luxury of a heated plunge pool, lounge area, private chef and dedicated butler.
The food at Finch Hattons Luxury Camp is prepared by a skilled team of passionate chefs who pair the finest wines with the finest ingredients. To top it all off, these multi-course affairs are served in the elegant dining room, which has fabulous views of the park. Additionally guests can choose an al fresco bush lunch or candlelit dinner under the stars - both equally amazing. Afterwards, enjoy a drink or two in one of the snug and comfortable bars, or up on the Star Gazing Terrace.
The camp offers stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and great gaming experiences with both morning and afternoon game drives available. Alongside spotting animals from the 4x4's guests can also head out on guided bush walks, pay a visit to a local Maasai village, or relax with a spot of yoga on the dedicated yoga deck. For children the Little Explorers Club & Resources Centre is an excellent way to entertain and educate growing minds, with activities such as footprint spotting, learning survival skills and making bow & arrows. The camp also boats an infinity pool, a well-stocked library, an impressive spa, and a cigar bar.
Why We Love It
While the children are being thoroughly entertained in the Little Explorers Club, sit back and relish the peace and quiet as you sip on a sundowner in the bush.
