A Pugliese Resort

Known as a 'borgo' (borough) with a traditional village feel, this is the perfect place for travellers to base themselves. Here we are in the heart of the boot of Italy, where the horizon looks out to the Adriatic Sea. This part of Italy is bordered by a beautiful coastline and clear azure waters.

The hotel has villas for families and a boutique hotel for couples, both of which have beautifully-designed interiors, charming patios and beautiful gardens. You can also choose from its restaurants: it's worth mentioning the informal ambiance of the pizzeria, which is set up in summer between the pool and the olive trees, as well as the chic and minimalist ambiance of the main restaurant, whose dishes include the catch of the day, from fresh carpaccio to grilled squid.

On site, there are four swimming pools, three of which are outdoors. There are also two beach clubs: one on the rocks, which can be easily accessed on foot, and the other on the fine sand, which you can get to in a shuttle bus. Tennis courts (summer courses available). A 656 square feet spa offering the ancient rituals of Apulia (the pink salt scrub is a must). Studio yoga. Bikes. 18-hole golf course adjoining the estate.

And for families, a kids club welcomes children from eight months to 16 years of age all year round.

Included in the itinerary

We have arranged a private tour of Ostuni for you to break up your week at the beach. The Citta Bianca is a beautiful sight, perched atop of the hills. It's one of the prettiest towns in Puglia. Paved alleyways meander through the intertwined old houses, where many local artisans can be found. A beautiful Gothic white stone cathedral (15th century), stands tall and elegant over the rest of the town. Against the Carmel, the church of San Vito Martire has a Baroque facade with a whirlwind of ornamentation in true Lecce style (18th century). We've organised for you to have a personal guide to discover the Eglise du Saint-Esprit church. Then you'll go to a nearby masseria. This is a real opportunity get an understanding of rural life in the past and see a traditional oil mill operate. Naturally, the pressing is followed by an oil tasting. The itinerary also includes a farm tour where you will learn all about making Burrata, an incredibly delicious creamy cheese that can be found on the menus of restaurants around town.

In Autumn

This is also a great place to stay outside of the summer holidays. This is firstly because the you'll be able to see the raw beauty of the region away from summer visitors. But also because the facilities at the estate will also make your stay wonderful under gorgeous winter sun: a vast indoor pool, fireplaces where you can cosy up, countryside routes where you can cycle without the summer heat, and a kids club for children of all ages.

A la carte

A taste of Puglia

Wheat, olive oil, vegetables and fish are the main ingredients of Pugliese cuisine. The first makes it possible to make a large variety of pasta, bread, pasties, etc. Recipes also get their ingredients from the orchards and groves that line the countryside. You'll find everything else you need at the market, where you'll go early in the morning with an actual chef and a guide who speaks your language. When you've done your shopping, you'll start cooking. Under the direction of the chef, you'll cook a recipe from southern cuisine. Make sure you whip up something nice, because it's going to feed everyone!
