Hotel Des Arts is a 5-star boutique hotel that invites guests to take a journey back in time to French colonial Vietnam. The building is a modern work of art itself and, true to its name, the inside is just as much an art gallery as it is a hotel since the walls are lined with the owner’s personal collections.

Rooms range in size from Deluxe to Executive Studio Suites and all are glamourous and tastefully decorated with colonial cream tones. Furnishings are all custom designed by Vietnamese artisans and period artwork on the walls continues the artistic theme into the bedrooms. The Sky Deluxe Room features floor to ceiling windows with great views out across the vibrant Ho Chi Minh City.

Guests can enjoy dining on Asian and Western cuisine at the Saigon Kitchen restaurant or opt for a more fine dining experience at Social Club on the 23rd floor. Saigon Kitchen Restaurant houses three open kitchens where chefs cook up a storm of succulent dishes inspired by Asian food markets. Social Club's selling point is its fantastic cityscape views and rooftop bar, which make the ultimate setting for dinner and drinks.

Afterwards, retreat to the library to curl up with a good book or sit with a drink on the rooftop as the city lights up below you. Facilities also include an arts room with piano, a café, the highest rooftop pool in the city, and a rejuvenating spa. The hotel sits in District 3, amidst more French colonial buildings, but guest can also enjoy wandering across the street into the cultural attractions of District 1 - think street markets and colourful crowds.

Why We Love It

The tasteful artistic touches found everywhere around the hotel make this a really special place to stay.
