Rocco Forte’s latest venture in the Eternal City, Hotel de la Ville Rome is an architectural gem designed by Olga Polizzi and inspired by the Grand Tours of the 18th century. Overlooking the Spanish Steps and with a beautiful rooftop bar, this is the perfect spot for soaking up the sublime city views and sipping sundowners while the sun sets over the rooftops.
There are a total of 104 elegant and spacious rooms and suites at the hotel, each decorated in signature Rocco Forte style with traditional wooden floors, marble bathrooms with walk-in showers, and large windows showcasing the wonderful views over the rooftops of Rome. For an added touch of luxury, opt for one of the larger rooms or suites for additional seating and dining areas as well as private terraces.
Overseen by a Michelin-starred chef, the cuisine at the hotel - designed around the finest and freshest ingredients - is exceptional. Head to The Lobby Bar & Bistro for rustic (though beautifully presented) cuisine alongside local organic wines or, for more sophisticated fare inspired by the Mediterranean, check out the main restaurant. Meanwhile, aperitivo is served throughout the hotel - we recommend enjoying a few of the imaginative cocktails and nibbles at the rooftop bar.
The luxurious spa is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of Rome, with treatments inspired by Sicilian botanticals collected from the Rocco Forte group's Sicilian resort. Relax and unwind in the Mediterranean salt inhalation room, steam room and sauna and, for an even wider selection, head to the hotel's neighbouring sister property - the Hotel de Russie - to use their spa facilities
Overlooking the Spanish Steps, Hotel de la Ville is in the perfect spot to explore the sublime city of Rome.
