Made up of four separate camps in the heart of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve on the Kruger National Park’s western border, Londolozi offers unparalleled game-viewing and thoroughly luxurious accommodation.
Set on the banks of the River Sands, each camp has its own individual style and distinctive characteristics ranging from intimate romantic hideaways to more family-orientated chalets.
Pioneer Camp is the newest and most secluded of the four, making it ideal for a romantic getaway. Three private suites with superb river views through the floor to ceiling windows invoke images of bygone days with old memorabilia such as restored photographs, suitcases, typewriters and gramophones displayed throughout.
Founders Camp is made up on seven chalets shaded by ancient ebony and matumi trees on the banks of the river. The chalets have been decorated in a classic African safari style, with black and cream ticking fabric, original mahogany beds and compass safari lamps creating a laid back atmosphere for the discerning traveller.
In the heart of Londolozi, Varty Camp has a delightfully down to earth quality and is the best option for families travelling with children. All of the ten chalets have private swimming pools and the living spaces are raised off the ground under a cathedral of trees. This is also where the camp's communal facilities are to be found, which include fitness and massage rooms.
The Tree Camp features six luxury suites surrounded by huge trees overlooking the river. Each suite has been elegantly decorated in a classic African safari style and has its own plunge pool and outdoor covered deck.
- The decor at Pioneer Camp - the newest incarnation at Londolozi - evokes a bygone colonial era, with old memorabilia such as restored photographs, suitcases, typewriters and gramophones displayed throughout.
