What can you find on South Africa family holidays that you won't find anywhere else?


The malaria-free Madikwe Reserve and Waterberg plateau areas are perfect for luxury family safari holidays and the best lodges there offer several excellent child-friendly activities.

Some of the safari lodges in the private concessions to the west of the Kruger National Park will also give children a wonderful introduction to the African bush, with all its extraordinary animal and plant life.

Further south and on the coast, there are hotels offering pony rides, tennis and mountain biking and near fine sandy beaches, or marine safaris to see whales, dolphins, seals and African penguins.

On the Eastern Cape, a couple of hours' drive from East London, Port Elizabeth and Bloemfontein is Thala, a private game reserve with a property that we are the exclusive UK representatives of, and which is ideal for exclusive hire for gatherings of extended family and friends.
