The Four Seasons in Amman is arguably one of Jordan’s most luxurious hotels, and certainly offers some fantastic views of the cityscape below from its location atop the highest of Amman’s seven hills.
The hotel features 192 guest rooms and suites. The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished with each suite offering a private living room and marble bathroom complete with free-standing bath tub and separate glass shower.
Guests have the choice of four restaurants which serve anything from Asian specialties to Mediterranean cuisine, using fresh and often locally-sourced ingredients. Asia restaurant offers Thai specialities, Vivace cooks up classic Italian meals and Olea invites you to sample signature Levant dishes. However should you fancy some al fresco dining hip and trendy Five Grill and Lounge has a candle lit open plan terrace, and with a resident DJ on the weekend this is the place to be. For a spot of afternoon tea, the Foyer Lounge is perfect, however if it's something stronger you're after, the intimate Square Bar is the place to go, offering the largest menu of single malts and cognacs in the region.
As far as activities go there are indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a full service spa specialising in restorative treatments using regional Dead Sea minerals. Discover their array of salt scrubs and aromatherapy oils between visits to the sauna, steam room, whirlpool and a fitness club with a gym and squash court.
Possible day excursions include the ancient ruins of Petra whose arid surrounds contrast remarkably with the fertile Jordan Valley and beaches of the Dead Sea less than an hour away
Thanks to the hotel's hilltop location, it offers panoramic views of the city, whose mix of boutiques, galleries and historical attractions are only a short taxi ride away.
