See our selecton of sample itineraries which feature Jawai

Jawai pioneers a new age of camping in India. Sujan’s latest ‘glamping’ experiment is located in the remote wilderness of the Aravalli Hills between Jodhpur and Udaipur, where would you believe it, leopards roam freely.

The camp boasts eight luxurious tents, all kitted out with funky art, elegant furniture and private decking to observe the wilderness wonders. Although the tents are contemporary they are designed without compromising Sujan's conservation principles to minimise impact on the environment. The camp's latest addition, the Royal Tented Suite, redefines luxury in the wilderness with unrivalled privacy, a private heated swimming pool, your own private butler, a private jeep for game drives and spectacular views of the dramatic, granite hills.

Life at Jawai celebrates the great outdoors. Days are spent on wilderness adventures; think breakfasts in the bush, picnics in the wild, lunches by lakes, and delicious dinners under the starry sky. Guests can then relax in the central tent overlooking the Jawai wilderness, or seclude themselves in the spry Spa for ultimate relaxation after a day's wildlife spotting.

Speaking of wildlife, this is leopard spotting country, and with a bit of luck guests have a real chance to observe these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat, as well as learn about the preservation work being done on the Leopard Research Project in the region. Should guests over indulge on safari, Kumbhalgarh Fort, the temples of Ranakpur, and various school projects are also within short distances of the camp.
