The pyramids and Valley of the Kings were truly amazing of course, but the SS Sudan was really a delight to be on board. Just to say thank you for a trip of a lifetime.

Best service and information, attentive and gave us best alternatives. More than what we expected. The Steam Ship Sudan was like living in the film with Hercule Poirot. The staff were all nice and professional. We’ll do this trip again.

The staff I dealt with were helpful with both listening to my requests for changes and also good at making suggestions. The trip had so many elements but in particular the linking together of airport, to hotel, to tour, to airport, to cruise etc all worked seamlessly - we were never left wondering how the next part might work, or if we would be well looked after.

Guidance and suggestions from our consultant were invaluable, he was essential to helping us plan. He presented options, and made booking easy. Our experience on the SS Sudan was a dream! Our consultant came up with a really good itinerary and sent it over in an excellent format. 12 days, as recommended, was the perfect length, and the itinerary could not have been better. Great hotel locations and grandly luxurious. The SS Sudan was stupendous, with a first-class team on board for whom no issue was a problem — they sorted out a broken suitcase for us and gave me a great birthday celebration.

There are so many highlights! The Valley of the Kings was fabulous, along with the other tombs nearby. I loved the cruise, where we were treated like queens.

Simply an astounding trip. Everything was taken care of, even at all airports! The experiences were unforgettable, we loved every guide who brought ancient Egypt to life for us. The Steamship Sudan is the only way to go, it's a remarkable way to see and live on the mystical River Nile. We did not want the trip to end.

Our trip was wonderful, more beautiful than we imagined. Regardless of the magnificence of Egyptian treasures, your local team was very kind, and we received very efficient assistance at all times. The hotels were fabulous and the cruise a dream: it was like living in an old movie. I love photography and took some wonderful pictures. Thanks again for everything, I'm sure we will travel together again.

Every time we returned to the SS Sudan, we felt like we’d returned to paradise. We were stunned by the level of service provided to us, from the really useful telephone call a few days before departure, to all of the booking processes completed on our behalf. The Concierges were all so helpful, warm and friendly, and I have to mention the quality of the guides we were allocated. Without a doubt, their immense expertise took the whole experience to another level.
