Romania Visa Requirements
British citizens do not need a visa for holidays to Romania if travelling for up to 90 days in any 180-day period.
Passport Validity for Romania Travel
Your passport should be valid for the entirety of your stay. It must also have a ‘date of issue’ of less than ten years before your arrival date, and an ‘expiry date’ of at least three months after the day you plan to leave.
Other Key Entry Information
At Romanian border control, you may need to show proof of your accommodation, travel insurance and/or return ticket, as well as proof you have enough money for your stay.
Romania has implemented the EU’s Entry/Exit System (EES), which involves registering your biometric details on arrival.
