Itinerary Highlights

  • Hanoi - 2 days
Undoubtedly the best place to start and get to grips with Vietnam is Hanoi, a city of ancient temples, traditional old quarters and French colonial architecture in abundance. A thriving community of market sellers still inhabit the '36 Streets District', where street names such as Tin Street or Paper Street can still be discovered. All of these are on the doorstep of the Sofitel Legend Metropole, an exquisite historical hotel dating back to 1901, and the one time host of Charlie Chaplin during his honeymoon.
  • Halong Bay - 1 day
Cruising around the UNESCO world heritage site of Halong Bay shows off some of the truly stunning scenery that Vietnam has to offer. Floating along in the Halong Jasmine, enjoy the 1930's Indochine décor, delectable dining and stunning views from vast windows on board.
  • Hoi An - 3 days
The sleepy coastal town of Hoi An is an ancient area that offers a glimpse into a bygone era. Cobbled streets are lined with preserved Chinese Merchant houses and shops, and offers shopping, wonderful local restaurants, historical interest, tailors galore and beautiful beaches. Just outside of this UNESCO World Heritage town is the Four Seasons Nam Hai, a chic and minimalist collection of villas, many with their own swimming pools.
  • Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) - 2 days
Next stop is Saigon, a dizzying, vibrant city that will throw visitors right into the heart of Vietnam's high octane lifestyle. Ceaseless traffic, strong aromas and an effervescence of day to day life, just wandering among the French colonial architecture of the streets will be an exciting experience. However, some top spots to see include the Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Reunification Palace. After all this exploration a bit of down time and spoiling will undoubtedly go down a treat and a stay at Park Hyatt hotel is the ideal place to indulge.
  • Con Dao - 4 days
After the hustle and bustle of the city, a well-earned beach stay will end the trip in style. The Six Senses Hideaway Con Dao is our top pick, with unobstructed views of the East Vietnam Sea. Pampering, water activities, turtle nest visits, historical tours or just a bit of sun worshipping, Six Senses offers the lot and is the ultimate place to relax.
