We promise you, the words 'I’m bored' won’t emanate from your children even once during your Vietnam family holidays. With jaw-dropping scenery, incredible food, atmospheric temples, and significant cultural sights at every turn and idyllic beaches that plead with you to be photographed, it’s easy to lose count of the mesmerising experiences on offer here. The UNESCO-listed Halong Bay is one of the main tourism magnets in Vietnam and is a must-visit. It offers a classic image of the country – towering limestone pillars topped with lush green vegetation litter turquoise waters, as do the colourful
boats that bring a multitude of visitors to swim and kayak in its hidden caves – all of which will delight mini travellers. Next up, make your way to the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi for a fantastically frenzied hit of culture that will give curious minds a serious workout. While there are naturally many city tours to choose from, wander around the Old Quarter without a plan and you’re guaranteed to bump into just as much adventure. Visit the hub of Ho Chi Minh City for a fantastic blend of old meets new, where you’re just as likely to stumble across a sleek designer hotel as a historic temple that honours ancient traditions. End your stay with a daytrip to Mekong Delta, an enchanting floating gem where markets, houses and boats bob on the water. Sail the labyrinth of quiet canals and waterways on a traditional sampan among coconut trees and market stalls and marvel at the otherworldly beauty of Vietnam.

Holy everything! WOW! We adored the Park Hyatt and our suite (which was a massive surprise) was gorgeous. What a lovely, chic and very classy hotel that is. Not over the top and deeply comfortable. We look forward to returning there. Six Senses is also an extraordinarily beautiful place.
