The cruise on the SS Sudan was excellent. I think we hit the jackpot with the guide assigned to our group of six for the various trips from the Sudan. The trips to the Valley of the Kings and Queens was thoroughly fascinating. Our guide and driver in Cairo were very good indeed. The whole trip was memorable really from start to finish.

During the booking process, there was excellent input to all questions and outstanding recommendations. Everyone was always very friendly and professional. All the concierges were very attentive and helpful. There were too many memorable moments to mention and there is nothing you can change, a very big thank you to everyone in the team!

Everything ran like clockwork and exceeded our expectations in every way. The Concierges were always there waiting for us and made us feel very taken care of. The staff on the SS Sudan were outstanding.

There's not enough space here to express how great this trip was, thanks to Original Travel. The entire trip was memorable and the expert Egyptologist guide made it even more meaningful. Holly could not have been more accommodating and more helpful, and she really made the trip special for us.

James, who put our holiday together, was very efficient and knowledgeable about all the places we were visiting or staying at in Egypt, we couldn't fault any of his planning. In fact, re accommodation, we were glad he suggested we should take a suite on the boat. Staying in the modernised part of the Old Cataract Hotel in Aswan was good. For our last night in Luxor he suggested the Hilton, which was quiet and relaxed and just what was needed. We felt able to have full confidence that all our transfers and meet ups, with guides and support staff would happen according to our schedule. The app with our holiday details was very useful. Our hotels were all excellent as expected. The four nights on SS Sudan were superb, we feel very privileged to have been able to do the Nile cruise section of our holiday on such a special boat, with a superb team running the hotel side of things. The restaurant was very good and the superb food and service surpassed our expectations. Using the app and WhatsApp to make contact worked well. Our guides in Cairo and Abu Simbel were excellent. We learned a lot about Ancient Egypt and Egypt today. Keep up the good work…. We would definitely consider using Original Travel for future holidays.

Ben was amazing. He was so responsive and helpful and planned the perfect trip. Our guide in Cairo, Mamoud, was outstanding. We had little need for the concierges because everything was planned so well. They were very responsive. The tomb of Nefertari and the valley of the workers was amazing. The Cataract Hotel was a real highlight.

Pat was amazing, a true credit to Original Travel. He pulled together a fantastic itinerary and made insightful suggestions for things we could do that we hadn't thought of. He was generous with his time and expertise. We couldn't have asked for more. Would give 5+ if the ratings scale above allowed me to! The comms coming out of the UK are great. The app is particularly good. Some really lovely gifts awaited us at the hotels / on the boats courtesy of Original Travel. This was totally unexpected and very much appreciated. We had the holiday of a lifetime. We have zero complaints and wouldn't change a single aspect of our holiday. Give Pat a massive bonus! He's an incredible ambassador for your company and really knows his stuff. Truly outstanding.

We had the most wonderful holiday! Starting with our arrival in a tiny plane at Lewa I felt like Denis Finch-Hatton. The lodge was so lovely and our safari guide, Zion, was just superb. He found all the animals we hoped for and each evening took us to an exquisite spot for gin and tonics. Manda Bay was enchanting. Our rondavels were luxurious and we were looked after royalty, including dinner on the beach by candlelight. We hired a dhow to go fishing and another day to go snorkelling. Arriving eventually in Nairobi for our return, we were met by Melanie the concierge and taken to the Shereton for dinner which was a great improvement to dining at the airport. She looked after us beautifully. Now it is lovely to be home though pretty chilly. I cannot thank you and your team enough for organising everything so well. A triumph.

Leisurely arrangements were appreciated for the long trip, and the Mena Hotel in Giza was excellent. The prompt response was appreciated when communicating with Original Travel, and the greetings at the airport were outstanding. The Steamship Sudan was very impressive.
