Lying alongside the Maunachira River which meanders through the Xakanaxa Lagoon, is the charming Okuti Camp, set within the famous Moremi Game Reserve and offering guests one of Botswana’s top safari experiences.

With just five traditional mosasas (tribal term for 'houses made of reeds') Okuti offers guests an exclusive and authentic safari stay. Despite their traditional exteriors and unspoilt location, the mosasas are incredibly luxurious inside; all feature twin beds, indoor and outdoor showers and comfortable modern furnishings coupled with exposed thatched roofs and panoramic views across the river from their private decks. The honeymoon mosasas also benefits from a beautiful freestanding stone bath and double bed. In addition to these mosasas Okuti also offers two family units, each comprising two separate bedrooms, which make them ideal for families or friends alike.

Activities at the camp are varied and encompass both land and water, and with such a wealth of wildlife living in the reserve, guests are ensured of a top game viewing experience at any time of the year. From action packed game drives in 4x4 vehicles to leisurely water safaris along the Okavango Delta's waterways by motorboat, guest will be spoilt for choice. The delta is also rich in birdlife and herons and storks often visit in breeding season, so this is birding paradise. Alternatively guests can simply soak up some afternoon sun by the camp swimming pool while listening to the sounds of the surrounding wildlife.

The exposed thatched roofs in the mosasas are really beautiful and make you feel as though you are getting a really authentic delta stay without compromising on any luxury.
