Colombia Passport & Visa Requirements

Colombia Visa Requirements

British citizens do not need a visa to travel to Colombia for stays of up to 90 days.

If you enter Colombia by land, sea or river, make sure your passport is stamped on entry. If it isn’t, you may receive a fine when you leave.

Passport Validity for Colombia Travel

Your passport must be valid when you enter Colombia. Although there are no other official rules, Colombian authorities recommend that your passport has an ‘expiry date’ of at least six months after the date you plan to leave.

Other Key Entry Requirements

You must be able to provide an onward or return ticket that demonstrates you plan to leave within the 90 days after you enter Colombia.

If you are travelling with prescription medication, be sure to keep it in the original container, pack it in your carry-on luggage and carry a copy of your prescription.
