The team behind Atemporal have coined the term 'hotelito' to define this boutique bolthole, located in the heart of Miraflores.
While officially a hotel, Atemporal feels more like the home of a cool, creative Peruvian; guests should feel right at home enjoying a cup of self-brewed Peruvian coffee in the upstairs lounge, or mixing the perfect G&T in the downstairs honesty bar.
There are just nine guestrooms housed within this restored 1940's mansion, each furnished with an eclectic mix of vintage and modern pieces. The decor of every room is different, but all feature smart TV's with Netflix, telephones with free international calls, air-conditioning, lockable under-bed draws (in a laptop friendly size), and ensuite bathrooms with showers. Lab rooms are small, however the inviting communal areas in Atemporal provide plenty of options to relax with a book and a cool drink. Lab + rooms are more spacious, and offer both King bed and Twin bed set up.
Facilities include the aforementioned tea lounge and honesty bar, as well as a small garden which is the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast. Speaking of dining, the hotel is within easy reach (read: walking distance) of some of the cities leading restaurants which, given the recent gastronomic boom in the city, is quite something.
Additional thoughtful touches include a select 24 hour dining menu, complimentary bicycles and the use of a 4G hotspot while you travel around the city. And while there is no front desk - that is far too formal for Atemporal - the Maitre de Maison is also on hand 24 hours a day to ensure all guests needs are met.
While world-class Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant Osaka and Astrid y Gaston from celebrity chef Gaston Acurio are within walking (or rolling) distance of Atemporal, for those must-dine spots a little further afield, take advantage of a complimentary transfer in the Atemporal Mini Cooper.
