The Aria Amazon is THE way to explore the beautiful and intriguing river views of the Peruvian Amazon, while reclining in the lap of luxury.

Ollie and Kate B are here to help give you the inside track.

With 16 cabins decorated elegantly and to the highest standards, all have floor to ceiling windows so as to showcase the stunning scenery in all its glory - and blackout blinds for anyone concerned about their sleeping pattern being disturbed. Four of the rooms are also interconnecting which is ideal for families wanting to explore this region. Natural Peruvian woven fibres and neutral hues make up the décor inside.

Many of the recipes and dishes created by the on board chefs are influenced by the Amazon, with much of the produce from the surrounding region, providing a true sense of indigenous and authentic cuisine.

An indoor lounge is home to a collection of coffee table books for guests to learn about the Amazon rainforest as they glide past, savouring a refreshing cocktail or fine South American wine and homemade plantain chips. Most days, the lounge will also host an educational talk, led by one of the on board English speaking naturalists on topics ranging from the endangered Taricaya turtle, to mixing the perfect Pisco Sour!

For those that prefer to enjoy the cooling river breeze, the cushioned loungers on the outdoor deck are the perfect spot to relax, and soak in the scenery and sunshine. There is even and outdoor jacuzzi for guests to cool off after their rainforest adventures.

Motorised launch boats jet passengers off to tributaries and docks along the Amazon banks, and if lucky guests might glimpse yellow spotted river turtles or red bellied piranhas on route. An on board boutique is available should a touch of retail therapy be in order, with artisanal items crafted by indigenous communities and designer pieces inside.
