At present it's all about the islands and beaches that line the country's long coastline and the key decision is whether to head north to the Quirimbas Archipelago or south to the Bazaruto Archipelago. Rest assured, though, that whichever you end up in will feature luxury lodges on white sand beaches, delicious fresh seafood and warm waters in which to swim or dive. Heaven, basically. Inland, the Gorongosa National Park is slowly but surely preparing to welcome tourists hoping for the ideal 'bush and beach' combo.
