Tivoli Gardens

Christmas is always a great time to see Copenhagen, as the Danes do festive spirit more stylishly than most. While there is shopping galore and excellent restaurants and bars for adults, kids will love the roller coasters and Ferris wheels, which are complimented by some of Copenhagen's best restaurants and theatres. The tasteful Tivoli Gardens is probably the world's most charming amusement park. Danes are rightfully proud of Tivoli, the antithesis of everything Disney, and enough to warm the heart of even the most Scrooge-like grown-up.
