Head to the airport this morning to catch your direct, five-hour flight from the UK to Hurghada, arriving in Egypt by early afternoon. On landing, you'll be met by a private driver and transferred to your hotel, where you will have plenty of time to settle in and freshen up before dinner. Enjoy a relaxed evening and an early night, ready for a full day of exploration tomorrow.
This morning, set off by 4x4 across the rugged desert terrain towards the summit of Shaieb El Benot Mountain, rising to over 7,000ft above sea level. From the top, soak up panoramic views of the fiery Red Sea Mountains – a striking contrast to the coastal scenery below.
After snapping some photographs and taking in the views, head back to the 4x4 and continue on to a traditional Bedouin village, where you'll meet local families and learn about life in this remote part of the Eastern Desert. With the heat of the day rising, return to your hotel in the afternoon for some well-earned relaxation time by the pool.
Diving in the Red Sea is on many travellers’ bucket lists, and with good reason. These waters are home to around 20% of the world's endemic fish species and more than 400 types of coral.
With PADI-certified dive centres available at our preferred hotels, we can arrange a diving experience to suit either a total novice or absolute addict, and everyone in between.
There are a huge number of dive sites around Hurghada, all with crystal-clear waters and stunning marine life, so a day spent out at sea will pass in no time at all. Then, with your dive skills well practised and your GoPros crammed with photographs and videos, head back to land for some downtime before dinner.
Your final full day is yours to relax or explore as you like. You might choose to indulge in a rejuvenating spa treatment, unwind by the pool or take a boat out to a nearby offshore island for a picnic lunch.
In the evening, you’ll be treated to a private sunset cruise. After a short transfer to the boat, spend a few hours leisurely cruising across the Red Sea as you watch the sun set behind the mountains, cocktail in hand. Quite a way to end the holiday!
Sadly, it’s time to head home today. You’ll be transferred to the airport in good time for your direct, five-hour flight back to the UK.
