Troncones, a quiet fishing village turned surfer paradise, is just 46 miles north of Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International Airport. Here, the rippling waves are perfect for learning to surf and you can also enjoy horseback riding along the shoreline and hiking in the nearby mountains of Sierra Madre.
