Oman Visa Requirements
British citizens can visit Oman for up to 14 days without a visa. If you plan to stay for longer than 14 days, you’ll need a visa. You can apply online before travelling by selecting the ‘unsponsored visit visa’ option or get a visa on arrival at an airport in Oman.
Passport Validity for Oman Travel
Your passport must have an ‘expiry date’ of at least six months from the date of your entry into Oman.
Other Key Entry Information
At Omani border control, you must be able to show a return or onward travel ticket, confirmation of your accommodation booking and proof of your travel health insurance.
Some UK prescription and over-the-counter medicines are illegal in Oman, so make sure you check the rules for your medication before travelling. If you’re bringing prescription medicine with you, carry a copy of your prescription with you.
It is illegal to bring e-cigarettes or vape products into Oman or use them while in the country.
