Uzbekistan Visa Requirements
British citizens can visit Uzbekistan without a visa for up to 30 days.
You must make sure your passport is stamped by border officials on entry, as this will be checked when you leave to ensure you haven’t overstayed.
Passport Validity for Uzbekistan Travel
Your passport should be valid for the entirety of your stay in Uzbekistan and have an ‘expiry date’ of at least three months after your arrival date.
Other Key Entry Information
You must register with the local district OVIR (Department of Foreign Travel and Exit) within three days of arrival in Uzbekistan. If you travel to another city and intend to stay longer then three days, you must also register there. If you’re staying in a hotel or guesthouse, the staff will usually register you, but if you intend to camp, you must register yourself online through their electronic registration system.
Make sure you keep a record of where you stay, as border officials will ask you for this when you leave the country.
If travelling with prescription medication, you must bring a doctor’s prescription and declare it at customs on arrival.
