Bolivia Visa Requirements

British citizens don’t need a visa to enter Bolivia if visiting for up to 30 days. You can stay for a further 60 days, at no extra charge, if you apply before the end of the 30 day period at one of the Department of Immigration offices throughout the country.

Make sure to get an entry stamp in your passport upon arrival in Bolivia, as you will have to pay a fine otherwise. If entering overland, ensure that your passport is stamped on both sides of the border (an exit stamp from the country you are leaving and an entry stamp on the Bolivian side).

Passport Validity for Bolivia Travel

Your passport should be valid for six months from the date you arrive in Bolivia.

Vaccination Information

Certificate of yellow fever vaccination is required for entry.
