FLIGHT TO AGADIR AND NIGHT IN AZRARAG
This exclusive seven-day road trip in southern Morocco begins with a flight to Agadir, which takes just under four hours. When you arrive, you’ll be whisked away by private transfer to Azrarag, which takes around half an hour. Tonight, you’ll stay in a beautiful stone house that clings to the hillside and looks out across the argan tree valley. We’ll arrange for you to have a massage when you arrive to help you unwind after your journey. After that, your time is yours to spend as you please in this luxurious space – a drink on one of the terraces as you gaze out at the view is a must.
THE PALM GROVE OF TIGHMERT
Today, you’ll leave Azrarag behind and head towards the ocean. You’ll stop in the Souss Massa region for a relaxing lunch before arriving in the lush palm grove of Tighmert. Tonight, you’ll stay in a house equipped with a large terrace and wonderful outdoor lounge.
VIEWS IN AMTOUDI, AKKA AND AIT ISSAFEN
Your next stop is the Agadir of Amtoudi, around an hour and three quarters away. This fortified granary was used up until the 1950s, and you’ll complete the final ascent to it either on foot or on the back of a mule. You’ll enjoy lunch on site with an exceptional panorama before driving on to Akka to discover one of the largest and most beautiful palm groves in southern Morocco. When you’ve finished exploring, you’ll continue your drive until you reach Aoujou – not far from Issafen – and the exclusive Maison Rouge. This timeless red stone building seduces with its breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, and it’s yours to call home this evening.
A NIGHT UNDER THE STARS
You’ll travel to Aït Kine today, an Amazigh mountain village where inhabitants have kept their heritage alive by restoring and using the old collective granary. Lunch is a picnic in this charming spot before heading into the desert to a nomadic camp on the shores of dry Lake Iriqui. Your tent will have a terrace where you can relax and gaze at the stars and the surrounding sand dunes. Come nightfall, lose yourself in the magical experience of being enveloped in the silence of the desert.
RELAX IN SKOURA
Today you’ll head to the palm grove of Skoura for the final stage of your trip. Spend two nights here in a traditional house set in a beautiful garden where almond trees, rosebushes and jasmines set the tranquil tone. During your stay, enjoy each meal in a different spot so you can appreciate every inch of this special place.
There’s plenty to get stuck into while you’re here, whether a siesta in the shade of century-old palm trees or a ride on the back of a camel or mule. To relax, choose from taking a dip in the swimming pool or heading to the hammam. One massage per person is also included to help you totally unwind during your last few days in Morocco. If you want to explore, you can head out into the valley of almond trees to see the white flowers in bloom, or trek in the Valley of Roses. We’ll also arrange for you to take a cooking class and enjoy themed evenings in the dar. Finally, don’t miss a sunset aperitif in the magical candlelit garden where you can toast to your fabulous adventure.
