Spend four days really getting under the skin of the Russian capital on a luxury Big Short Break.
Your Moscow-bound flight will leave London in the morning and arrive in Russia four hours later in the mid-afternoon.
Once you have cleared customs and collected your luggage, one of our team on the ground will meet you for an hour-long private transfer to your hotel on the banks of the Moskva River.
You will have the rest of the day to settle in, before heading out for dinner and drinks this evening. Don't forget to speak to our dedicated local Concierge who can recommend all their favourite things to see and do in the Russian capital.
After breakfast this morning, you will meet your local guide and spend the morning seeing Moscow like a Muscovite. Together you will make your way to a few of the key sites, but will also make time to take in favourite local haunts including GUM, the Muscovite Harrods.
After lunch, you will visit Stalin's secret bunker, which the paranoid dictator had built nearly 200ft underground, with a guide. The bunker is an eerie if fascinating insight into the mindset of one of the most brutal leaders of the 20th century. To lighten the mood (unless Giselle is on) this evening, you will visit the Bolshoi ballet for an evening of music and dance.
Russia has sent a fare few cosmonauts into orbit, so they know a thing or two about space travel.
This morning you will visit Star City, where Russia's space agency employees and their families live.
The city is home to the training centre where all potential astronauts are put through their paces before being sent into the space. With your expert guide, you will tour the facilities and have the chance to test your mettle in the centrifuge, ideally before you have lunch.
Your flight home isn't until this evening, so you will have the morning to explore the city on your own.
After a late lunch, you will be privately transferred to the airport in good time for your afternoon four-hour flight home arriving in London in the early evening.
