What are the best options for an Australia honeymoon?

After a pit-stop in Sydney, we recommend Australia's 'Red Centre'. The landscape here is starkly beautiful and in the middle of this ancient landscape is the extraordinary natural wonder of Uluru (Ayer's Rock as was, but Uluru sounds far cooler).

Further east, Queensland is the home of some of the world's most treasured natural wonders such as the Great Barrier Reef and the Whitsundays - 74 incredibly beautiful tropical islands and a fabulous place for a few days boating - something we particularly recommend for a romantic stay.

In South Australia (we're hopping around a bit here, but there's a lot to see), Kangaroo Island is perhaps the best place to see Australian wildlife up close. That the island is also home to award-winning Southern Ocean Lodge makes this a must for any honeymoon to Australia.

Next up, Victoria features spectacular coastal drives and magnificent bushwalking country and Tasmanians pride themselves on top quality food and wine. Finally, you'll need a rest after all this, so consider Western Australia, famous for its long days of sunshine, spotless blue skies and brilliant beaches. All in all, this would be a ripper of a honeymoon.
