Philippines Passport & Visa Requirements

Philippines Visa Requirements

British citizens can holiday in the Philippines for up to 30 days without a visa. However, you must obtain a QR code to show that you have registered on the e-travel system within the 72 hours before your arrival in the country. Some airlines don't allow you to board unless you have this QR code, so it's best to get it sooner rather than later.

Most British visitors are also expected to have proof of return or onwards travel. Both immigration officials and airline staff may ask for this.

Passport Validity for Philippines Travel

To visit the Philippines your passport must have an expiry date of at least six months after your arrival date.

Other Key Entry Information

You cannot take more than 50,000 Philippine pesos into the country. If you're bringing in foreign currency worth more than 10,000 US dollars, you must complete a foreign currency declaration form upon arrival.
