Itinerary

100% customisable for you

Suncream at the ready: your family adventure to Grenada begins today. Head to the airport, speed through security and settle into the lounge before boarding your flight to this island paradise. With a quick stopover, the flight will take around 11 hours, so sit back, lay out the snacks and make a start on your holiday read.

When you touch down later the same day, you’ll be met and privately transferred the short distance to your beachfront resort. Check in, divvy up the beds and spend the rest of the afternoon soaking up your new surroundings – preferably with a cocktail (or mocktail) in hand…

We’ve left today entirely free for you to settle into this island paradise. Begin the day with a bountiful breakfast before beelining for the beach, where sunbathing and swimming await.

If you fancy sticking close to home, challenge the youngsters to a game of table tennis or take the teenagers to the spa for a little R&R. If your children are raring to go, however, there are plenty of things to do nearby, from paddleboarding and kayaking on the sparkling sea to hiking and mountain biking across the island.

Come evening, enjoy a tasty dinner at the hotel or in a local restaurant – our clued-up Concierge is on hand to recommend some hidden gems.

This morning, fuel up with a hearty breakfast before meeting a local guide for a tour of the island. Nicknamed the ‘Spice Isle’ for its nutmeg production, this punchy island boasts more than just beautiful beaches and sun-drenched shores (although it has those too, of course).

Your guide will tailor the tour entirely to your interests, whether you’d rather visit Fort Frederick, built by French colonial forces to protect St George’s Harbour; the Concorde Waterfall, a sparkling spectacle surrounded by lush vegetation; or the Victoria Nutmeg Museum, one of the largest nutmeg processing plants on the island.

If the children begin to drag their feet, they’re sure to perk up with a mention of Belmont Estate’s Chocolate Factory. Nestled among 300 acres of organic farmland and lush forests, Belmont offers an immersive tree-to-bar chocolate-making experience – complete with a tasting, of course.

Once the youngsters have satisfied their sweet tooth, the adults can divert to the River Antoine Distillery, known for producing authentic rum. Cheers to that…

Travelling with a water baby or two? You’re in luck. With its shallow reefs and spectacular sites, Grenada is a diver’s paradise, suitable for novices and pros alike. Today, venture out on a beginner-friendly snorkelling trip to the Underwater Sculpture Park, an under-the-surface art gallery showcasing stone sculptures.

Alongside a private guide, set sail along the southwest coast, taking in views over shoreline villages and black sand beaches. Then, mask up and dive down to the sculpture gallery, encountering schools of tropical fish and colourful corals along the way.

Swap flip flops for walking boots this morning as you meet your private guide for a hike to the Seven Sisters, a series of seven magnificent waterfalls in the heart of the island.

With snacks on standby, wander along rugged trails, passing lush rainforest and keeping your eyes peeled for Mona monkeys and endemic bird species. Along the way, you’ll also have the chance to swim in sparkling natural mountain pools – the perfect way to cool off.

Suitably shattered, head back to your hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing, perhaps with an afternoon siesta.

We’ve left your final day on the island free to spend however you please.

If you fancy returning to some big hitters (we’re looking at you, Chocolate Factory), then grab your bags and venture out. We could also arrange some other exciting activities, such as a whale-watching cruise or river-tubing adventure.

Otherwise, heed the call of the ocean and set up camp on the sand, making the most of your final day of beachfront bliss. Those sandcastles won’t build themselves…

After a serene sundowner overlooking the shore, head out for your last supper in Grenada.

After one final lazy morning on the beach, you’ll be privately transferred back to the airport for your overnight flight home. With another quick stopover, the journey will take just over ten hours, touching down in the UK the next morning. Just enough time to dream up your next family getaway…
