Rise bright and early, head to the airport and settle in for a cup of coffee in the lounge: your European getaway begins today with a two-hour flight to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.
When you touch down, you’ll be met and privately transferred to your hotel in the Old Town, where you’ll be staying for the next two nights. Check in, drop your bags and freshen up before heading out to dive straight into Prague’s creative cultural scene.
This afternoon, we’ve secured you tickets to the Mucha Museum, a gallery dedicated to the graphic designer Alphonse Mucha. Despite spending much of his life in Paris, Mucha was deeply connected to his Czech roots, reflected in his work dedicated to the National Revival Movement.
Spend some time wandering the exhibits, admiring his distinctive style and learning about his life, before venturing out for a delicious dinner – our clued-up Concierge is on hand to recommend some nearby spots.
To help you find your bearings on your first full day in Prague, we’ve arranged a walking tour of the city. After a fuelling breakfast, meet your friendly guide and wander to the Municipal House, which showcases Prague's Art Nouveau architecture, before visiting the Powder Tower, a 215ft Gothic tower separating the Old Town from the New Town.
From here, wind through a maze of alleys to the Old Town Square, home to the Town Hall and iconic astronomical clock. As the clock strikes the hour, watch as the twelve apostles poke their heads out of doorways set above its face – certainly something worth timing your visit right for.
Continue wandering to the Charles Bridge, whose Medieval stone arches have come to be a symbol of the city. From here, it’s a short walk to the Mala Strana district with its Baroque St Nicholas Church and steep Nerudova Street. Talk about hitting the ground running…
This morning, wave goodbye to Prague as you’re privately transferred to Prague Central Station for the four-hour-and-ten-minute train to Vienna, across the border in Austria.
When you arrive, it’s another private transfer (lucky you) to your hotel, your home for the next three nights. Once you’ve checked in and divvied up the sides of the bed, spend the rest of the day however you please, whether you’d rather wander into town to stretch your legs or enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the hotel.
Known for its elegant culture, intricate architecture and incredible café scene, the Austrian capital is a delight to explore on foot. Today, meet a friendly local for a guided tour of Vienna, exploring hidden gems and iconic hotspots.
Your guide will tailor your tour entirely to your interests, so fill them in on your thoughts as you wander along quaint cobbled streets. Along the way, they’ll also give you a few tips and tricks for the city – including the perfect place to stop for lunch…
Spend the rest of the day putting your newfound knowledge of the city to good use by strolling the streets solo. Come evening, we can also arrange for you to listen to a performance of Vivaldi’s world-famous Four Seasons in concert at St Charles’s Church (or the Karlskirche), an incredible experience for music lovers and architecture enthusiasts alike.
Delve further into Vienna’s history today with a visit to Schonbrunn Palace (armed with skip-the-queue tickets, of course).
Once a Medieval agricultural estate, this grand UNESCO-listed Palace was discovered by Emperor Leopold I, who commissioned architect Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach to transform it into a royal summer home in the late 17th century. In the centuries since, many historic figures have left their mark, including Maria Theresa, who gave the palace its coherent Rococo look. Spend some time exploring the 1,441-room palace and its sprawling gardens, admiring its blend of influences and styles.
Still raring to go? We can also arrange a walking tour dedicated entirely to the women who made Vienna what it is today, from composers and authors to fashion designers.
Another day, another train. Today, it’s a private transfer back to Vienna’s train station to ride the rails to Budapest, a two-and-a-half-hour journey.
When you arrive, you’ll be met and whisked to your centrally located hotel. Spend some time unpacking and settling in, then head out for an afternoon of rest and relaxation.
On the agenda for the rest of the day is a visit to the Szechenyi Baths, one of the largest bath complexes in Europe, and Budapest’s first thermal baths. Grab a towel and sink into the Roman-style baths, soaking up the delightfully warm water and admiring the exquisite neo-Baroque architecture. And, relax…

Spend your final afternoon however you please. For an extra special send-off, we can arrange a n evening at the Mupa, a stunning events hall showing musical and theatre performances; otherwise, simply pick a place to eat and enjoy one last delicious dinner, toasting to the memories of your European getaway.
After three incredible cities and many memories made, it’s sadly time for your European getaway to come to an end. This morning, enjoy one last breakfast before bundling your bags in the car for the private transfer back to Budapest’s airport.
