What can you find in Nepal that you won't find anywhere else?
The country is home to an impressive eight of the ten tallest mountains on Earth, and while they are mighty impressive even from afar, nothing beats getting up and close and personal with the mighty Himalayas on a trek. We work with only the finest guides and sherpas to make the experience truly memorable.
Away from the mountains, in the - relatively - flat grasslands and forests of the Terai lies the Chitwan National Park, home to one-horned rhinoceri and the elusive Bengal tiger. Visitors can enjoy game viewing in seriously beautiful surroundings from the comfort of a 4x4 or canoe, or in slightly less comfort (but far more style) on the back of an elephant.
Even better, the best way to travel from the mountains to the Terai is by whitewater raft, a beautiful and exciting way to enjoy the surroundings, and avoiding flying from Pokhara via Kathmandu in the process.
And speaking of Kathmandu, some visitors choose to bypass the ever so slightly bonkers capital city completely, but we think it merits at least a couple of days' exploration. Highlights include sitting at a café table drinking lassi and watching the bustling world go by; and the antidote to the charming chaos - a visit to the temple at Swayambhunath, a hugely important Buddhist pilgrimage site and wonderfully tranquil place of fluttering prayer flags, venerable monks and the aroma of cinnamon, clove, kusum and juniper.
