With just five rooms and overlooking the beautiful Lake Nahuel Huapi, Los Juncos Patagonian Lake House is a charming little corner of the Alps in Argentina.
Each of the bedrooms is furnished in a distinctive style with lovely pieces of antique furniture, colourful textiles and quality linens, and the cosy and communal lounge area feels like a private home or ski lodge.
The owners create excellent meals using the best local ingredients and served in a dining room with lake views, or under a gazebo in the garden on hot summer days. The bar is a fun place for guests to congregate in the evening, and the team at Los Juncos can also arrange cooking lessons or gourmet picnics that can be taken on walks around in the beautiful scenic surroundings, including nearby Llao Llao National Park.
Other activities on offer include kayaking, sailing and mountain biking, or just relaxing at one of the nicest, most relaxed places to stay in all Argentina.
