Luxury Hotels in Cappadocia

Yunak Evleri

This small luxury hotel is set at the foot of towering cliffs and consists of six cave houses and a 19th century Greek mansion.

All rooms and suites are tastefully decorated in warm, traditional style with hardwood floors and kilim carpets, and have modern bathrooms and private balconies or patios.

A labyrinth of narrow passageways and curved stone stairways links the whole complex together. In the summer months, candlelit dining is offered at the panoramic rooftop restaurant.

The hotel can also arrange activities such as trekking, cycling and riding.

Why We Love It

The majority of the rooms are in restored stone houses, but some are cave-rooms burrowed deep into the cliff and dating back to the 5th and 6th centuries.

Sacred House

The hotel is housed in a 250-year-old Greek mansion and has just seven rooms, one of which used to be the mansion's private chapel.

The rooms are comfortable, with modern bathrooms complete with Jacuzzis. The hotel is decorated with antique furnishings throughout, and has a tranquil, vine-shaded courtyard and a terrace where guests can enjoy a drink.

The hotel's cave-style restaurant offers an interesting menu of Greek, Turkish & Armenian food. Altogether, Sacred House makes a stylish and comfortable base from which to explore the extraordinary region of Cappadocia.

Why We Love It

Complimentary bottles of the local cherry liqueur are placed in the rooms; not to everyone's taste but worth a tasting.

Serinn House

Serinn House offers an unparalleled level of luxury and comfort, and its contemporary design makes a welcome addition to Cappadocia's famous cave hotels.

Located in Ürgüp's most beautiful district, with magnificent views of the town and surrounding mountains, Serinn House is a cave hotel with a difference. The 5 guest rooms have each been individually designed by a famous Turkish architect and all seamlessly integrate understated modern décor with the intimacy, tranquillity and natural beauty of the caves. The hotel blends harmoniously into its surroundings, belying the sleek interiors and up-to-the-minute amenities you'll find once you step inside.

The small but state-of-the-art kitchen produces delicious Turkish and international cuisine in a beautiful setting overlooking Cappadocia's mountain range. The hearty breakfast of homemade breads, scones, cakes and pies is everything you need to set you up for a day's excursion and a sunset drink on the terrace is an absolute delight.

Visits to Cappadocia's famous rock formations are the thing to do here, and whether you choose to explore them on foot, by mountain bike, or on horseback, Serinn House will gladly make the arrangements.

Why We Love It

The owner, Eren, is a fountain of knowledge on everything Cappadocia and will go out of her way to make certain your stay is a memorable one.
