Where to go in Sweden

Sweden is more than a tale of two cities, although Stockholm and Gothenburg are a pretty good place to start. Both have regular direct flights from the UK, and nearby archipelagos that mean you can enjoy a perfect summer combo of city and islands. For the rest of Sweden, we tend to concentrate on the snowier bits, such as the super-slick ski resort of Are, and the wild and woolly Swedish Lapland, although Lapland is also an excellent option in summer:
